The leaf and stem mines of British flies and other insects

(Coleoptera, Diptera, Hymenoptera and Lepidoptera)

by Brian Pitkin, Willem Ellis, Colin Plant and Rob Edmunds

GLEBIONIS. [Asteraceae]

Chrysanthemum coronarium is treated as Glebionis coronarium (Crown Daisy) and Chrysanthemum segetum is treated as Glebionis segetum (Corn Marigold) by Stace (2010).

Only one miner, Chromatomyia 'atricornis', is recorded on Glebionis in Britain.

Elsewhere one miner, Liriomyza strigata, is recorded on this host plant.

See CHRYSANTHEMUM.

A key to the European miners recorded on Chrysanthemum including Glebionis is provided in Bladmineerders van Europa.
